Section of Rambukkana-Kegalle road closed for repairs

A section of the Rambukkana-Kegalle main road near the Rambukkana railway crossing will be closed for traffic from 6.00 p.m. this evening (18), police said.

The road is to be closed due to repairs being carried out on the road section near the railway crossing.

Accordingly the road will be completely closed off from 6.00 p.m. today (18) to 6.00 a.m. tomorrow (19) and again from 6.00 p.m. on Thursday (20) to 6.00 a.m. on Friday (21). 

Motorists traveling on the road are advised to use alternate routes in order to avoid inconveniences.
