SriLankan to be summoned before COPE today

The officials of SriLankan Airlines are scheduled to appear before the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) today (19).

The Department of Communication of the Parliament said this is with regard to the contemporary issue on the Airbus deal.

The COPE will convene at 2.30 pm this afternoon.

In the meantime, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will be summoned before the COPE tomorrow (20) while the Foreign Employment Bureau was summoned yesterday (18).

The adjournment debate pertaining to the Airbus deal of the flag carrier, SriLankan Airlines will also take place tomorrow from 12.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
