Seven youths arrested over online sexual abuse

The National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) is conducting investigations into a group of individuals who sexually exploiting school girls online.

Seven suspects have been taken into custody a result of the investigations, the NCPA Chairman Prof. Muditha Vidanapathirana said.

According to him all these suspects are aged below 20 years.

The NCPA chairman emphasized that school children being among the arrested suspects should be a concern of all parents and teachers.
