18-hour water cut in parts of Gampaha District

The National Water Supply & Drainage Board says that the water supply to several areas in the Gampaha District including Ja-Ela, Katunayake and Seeduwa will be suspended for 18 hours tomorrow (26).

It said that the water cut will be in effect from 9.00 a.m. tomorrow to 3.00 a.m. on Thursday (27) due to essential repairs to be carried out. 

Accordingly the water cut will be imposed in Ja-Ela and Katunayake-Seeduwa Urban Council areas, Ja-Ela, Ekala, Kandana, Aniyakanda, Batagama, Thudella, Niwandama, Maeliya, Kerawalapitiya, Matagoda, Welisara, Mabola, Elapitiwala, Mahabage, Dikkowita, Uswetakeiyawa, Pamunugama and Bopitiya areas.
