Fire breaks out at swamp in Rajagiriya

A fire has broken out at a marshy land at Perera Mawatha on Rajagiriya Buthgamuwa Road, states Ada Derana reporter.

Reportedly, the Disaster Management Center (DMC), the Fire Brigade are currently working together to control the fire.

A Bell 212 helicopter of the Sri Lanka Air Force has also been deployed to the scene of the fire to conduct ‘Bambi Bucket’ operations to douse the fire.
