18-hour water cut in Ja-Ela, Katunayake, Seeduwa

The water supply to several areas including Ja-Ela, Katunayake and Seeduwa will be temporarily suspended today (26), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) stated.

Accordingly, the water cut will be effective for a period of 18 hours –from 9 am this morning until 3 am tomorrow (27).

Essential maintenance activities have resulted in the interruption of the water supply, according to NWSDB.

Water cut will be experienced in Ja-Ela, Katunayake and Seeduwa Urban Council areas, and Ja-Ela, Ekala, Kandana, Aniyakanda, Batagama, Kudella, Niwandama, Maeliya, Kerawalapitiya, Matagoda, Welisara, Mabola, Elapitiyawala, Mahabage, Dikowita, Uswetakeiyawa, Pamunugama and Bopitiya areas.
