Another patient tests positive for COVID-19

Another person has tested positive for COVID-19 today (28), says the Ministry of Health.

As per the statistics of the Health Ministry, a total of 107 coronavirus-infected persons has been diagnosed in Sri Lanka so far.

Earlier today, it was reported that two patients who contracted the virus had made a complete recovery, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 9. Accordingly, Sri Lanka’s current tally of positive cases now stands at 98.

Meanwhile, 199 patients suspected of contracting the virus are under observation at selected hospitals across the country.
