Several hotlines to address public grievances during Covid-19 outbreak

An accelerated grievance redressal mechanism has been established to address issues of the general public in the wake of the emergency situation that prevails due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak in the country.

The Department of Government Information stated that this mechanism is being operated by the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government.

The objective of this mechanism is to maintain normalcy in the day-to-day lives of people and to avoid the practical difficulties that arise at the level of Divisional Secretariats and District Secretariats.

Accordingly, the following hotlines have been introduced for the general public to contact inform their issues:

In the meantime, the operation centre of the Presidential Task Force for coordinating and monitoring the provision of essential public services has been set up at the Temple Trees.
