Curfew, isolation decisions not to be taken at regional level

March 30, 2020   11:24 am

All decisions pertaining to curfew or isolation processes will be made only by the highest government authorities, stated President’s Media Division.

The Government announces that no decision should be taken at the regional level which can cause disruption of civilian life.

Any information that suggests changes to ongoing curfew hours in any area should be forwarded to the Presidential Task Force on Prevention of COVID-19.

Thereby, top-level government authorities will decide on the imposition of curfew, selection of localities to implement curfew and declaration of isolated areas following an in-depth analysis of data received.
