Pensions to be delivered to the homes of pensioners

April 2, 2020   03:10 pm

The staff of the Department of Posts has already commenced a program which would deliver the pensions for the month of April right to homes of pensioners, Postmaster General Ranjith Ariyaratne said.

Accordingly, there will be no need for pensioners to personally reach Post Offices using the transportation services provided by the government, in order to make collections, he said.

The Postmaster General further stated that only if pensioners have not received their pensions by the 4th of April 2020, they can contact the postmaster of their respective post office over the phone and make inquiries.
