Gazette on General Election date issued

The Gazette notification declaring the General Election 2020 to be held on the 20th of June 2020 has been published a short while ago.
The Extraordinary Gazette is issued by the Elections Commission of Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the General Election 2020, postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country, will be held on June 20, Saturday.
