Temporary curfew for two areas in Ampara District

UPDATE (7.30 AM): The temporary curfew imposed for Uhana and Damana areas in Ampara District has been lifted, says the Commander of the Army.


 

Curfew has been imposed for two areas in Ampara District for few hours this morning (24), says Army Chief, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.

According to him, Uhana and Damana areas have been put under curfew temporarily.
