1,400 PCR tests conducted yesterday – Dr. Jasinghe

The Director General of Health Services says that 1,400 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests were carried out within Monday (27).

This is the highest number of PCR tests conducted within a day, according to Dr. Anil Jasinghe.

Facilities for PCR tests are now available at 16 institutions, he said further.
