Validity period of curfew passes extended

The validity period of the curfew passes issued for the government and private sector institutions which are providing essential services has been extended.

DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the validity period of the curfew passes, which are due to expire tomorrow (April 30), have been extended until May 31.

However, he stated that the curfew passes issued for general purposes will have to be renewed and that this is mandatory.
