COVID-19 recoveries from Navy hike to 283

Thirty-three more naval personnel who were confirmed to have contracted the COVID-19 have made complete recoveries from the virus, Sri Lanka Navy said in a statement.

Accordingly, a total of 283 naval personnel has recovered from the disease so far.

These discharged navy men will be kept under quarantine for another 14 days in compliance with the healthcare regulations.

Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry says that out of the 1,068 positive cases of coronavirus confirmed in Sri Lanka to date, 607 were detected from the Navy.
