No intention of hiking electricity tariffs - Amaraweera

The Minister of Power and Energy Mahinda Amaraweera says that there is no intention to increase electricity tariffs despite the losses suffered by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).

The Government is continuing to work towards maintaining the electricity tariff without burdening the people, the Minister pointed out.

Minister Amaraweera expressed these views speaking to media personnel in Hambantota.
