1,141 cases of Covid-19 reported in Sri Lanka

One more confirmed case of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been identified bringing the tally of confirmed cases reported in the country to 1,141.

A total of 52 new positive cases were reported within yesterday, according the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry.

Forty nine of them are individuals who had recently returned from Kuwait, one of them is a returnee from Indonesia while the other two are navy personnel.

Accordingly 458 patients who had tested positive for Covid-19 are currently being treated at hospitals while 674 have been cured and discharged.
