COVID-19: Recovered Navy personnel count reaches 344

Twelve more COVID-19 patients from the Sri Lanka Navy has completely recovered from the virus infection, stated the Sri Lanka Navy Spokesman.

Accordingly, a total of 344 naval personnel have recovered from the disease so far.

These discharged navy men will be kept under quarantine for another 14 days in compliance with the healthcare regulations.

The total number of coronavirus cases reported in Sri Lanka is at 1,319.

Currently, 597 active cases are under medical care at selected hospitals across the country, as per the Epidemiology Unit.

Meanwhile, 712 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospital upon complete recovery from the illness.

Sri Lanka reported its 10th death on Monday (25) as a 51-year-old woman who had arrived in the country from Kuwait succumbed to the disease. The Ministry of Health confirmed that this coronavirus victim was suffering from heart conditions prior to her passing.
