Man gunned down in Maligawatta housing complex

A person has been injured and hospitalized following a shooting at the Laksetha Sevana housing complex in Maligawatta.
According to the Police Media Division, the shooting incident had taken place at around 5 pm yesterday (30).
The person injured in the shooting had been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital and is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
The victim is a 35-year-old male resident of the housing complex.
The cause of the shooting or a suspect has not been identified yet.
Maligawatta Police is conducting further investigation on the matter.
