Three-wheeler driver injured in shooting at Hanwella

A 43-year-old person has been gunned down and injured in Elamalawala area in Hanwella, the Police said.
An unidentified man who arrived on a motorcycle had opened fire at the victim last evening (12).
The injured victim has been admitted to the Avisswella Hospital for treatment.
He was identified as a 43-year-old three-wheeler driver residing in Welipillewa area.
The motive for the shooting is yet to be uncovered and Hanwella Police is carrying out further investigations into the incident.
