Derailment in Vavuniya delays train services

An express train has derailed in the area of Avusadapitiya this morning (08).

The train in question, which set off from Vavuniya, had been en route to Colombo.

The derailment has delayed all trains on the northern railway line, according to Ada Derana correspondent.

However, the train services on the railway line will be restored without delay.
