Returnee tests positive for Covid-19, total cases sit at 2,094

Another individual has tested positive for Covid-19, raising the total cases in Sri Lanka to 2,094.

Department of Government Information said this patient is a Sri Lankan who had returned from Iran.

A total of 116 patients infected with the virus are currently under medical care while the total figure of recoveries in Sri Lanka has risen to 1,967.

The country has confirmed 11 deaths due to the virus infection.
