Ampara Chief Inspector arrested for concealing evidence on Sainthamaruthu blast

A Chief Inspector in charge of Ampara Police garage has been arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD), stated the Police Media Spokesman.

The officer has been arrested over concealing evidence on the bomb blast in Sainthamaruthu on April 26, 2019.

He had been serving as the Head of the Traffic Division of the Kalawanchchikudi Police at the time incident.
