2020 O/L exam candidates should apply online

Private and school candidates sitting for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination 2020 should apply through the online procedure, says the Department of Examinations, in a media release published today (24).

Commissioner General of Examinations, Mr. Sanath Pujitha said the application details can be obtained from the official website of the Examinations Department – www.doenets.lk

The applications submitted by the private and school candidates will be accepted from the 22nd of July to the 31st of August.

A printed copy of the application should be then sent to the Examinations Department, via post.

The release further noted that the applications of school candidates must be directed to the Examinations Department by the respective principals or the heads of each Pirivena.

Relevant instructions in this regard have already been posted to them, the release added.

Instructions relevant to the private candidates of the exam are published in the Examinations Department’s official website. And they are urged to submit their applications directly through the online procedure. They are also advised to send in a printed copy of the application via post.
