Rishad visits Vavuniya CID branch to record statement

Former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen has arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) branch at the Iratperiyakulam Police in Vavuniya.

He has been summoned to record a statement with regard to the 2019 Easter Sunday bomb attacks, said Ada Derana reporter.

Colombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake recently ordered the former Minister to record a statement with the CID.

Accordingly, he had arrived at the CID branch at around 9 am this morning (27).
