Rs 10,400 mn allocated to buy paddy during Yala season

An amount of Rs 10,400 million has been allocated for the purchase of paddy from farmers during the Yala season, stated the Ministry of Finance.

As the first phase, purchase will be done at a guaranteed price of Rs 50 per kilogram, the Ministry said.
