PHIs to call off strike

Public Health Inspectors (PHI) have decided to call off their trade union action from tomorrow, stated the Association of Public Health Inspectors.

The decision has been taken following a discussion with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and health authorities.

Accordingly, the strike launched by PHIs will be called off at 7.30 am tomorrow morning (29).
