24 more Covid-19 recoveries moves total to 2,789

Twenty-four more Covid-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged from hospital raising the total number of recoveries in the Sri Lanka to 2,789. 

Accordingly 16 patients from the Welikanda Base Hospital and 08 from the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) have been discharged. 

Presently a total of 118 patients are being treated for Covid-19 in Sri Lankan hospitals.
