Over 1,100 arrested within 24 hours in Western Province

A total of 1,141 persons have been arrested on various charges during the last 24 hours in the Western Province following a police operation.
This includes 465 suspects arrested for drug offences and 477 arrested on pending warrants.
Meanwhile another 98 suspects have been apprehended over other criminal charges.
