AG concludes action in 23,745 criminal advise files

The Attorney General’s Department says it has concluded action in a total number of 23,745 criminal advise files over the last 18 months.

Further, 12,053 indictments have been forwarded to the High Court, according to the Coordinating Officer of the Attorney General, State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne.
