The draft of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution has been submitted to the Attorney General for his observations.

Minister of Justice Ali Sabry stated that the proposed draft was referred to the Attorney General by the Secretary to Ministry of Justice.

Meanwhile, political sources say that the draft of the proposed 20th Amendment to the Constitution is due to be presented to the Cabinet of Ministers this week.

The next meeting of the Cabinet is scheduled to be held tomorrow (02) at 4.00 pm under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
