Locomotive engine drivers reject Chinese trains

Locomotive engine drivers have decided to discontinue the operation of trains with Chinese compartments.

Secretary of the Locomotive Engineering Operators’ Union (LEOU) Indika Dodangoda stated that decision was taken due to a fault in the brake system.

Authorities have failed to take any action on the matter despite bringing this to their attention on numerous occasion, said Dodangoda, speaking to Ada Derana.
