Additional prosecutors assigned to 04 High Courts

The Attorney General has assigned new Additional Prosecutors to Homagama, Kalutara, Matara, and Negombo High Court.
The Coordinating Officer of the Attorney General State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne says that this decision has been taken in view of the large number of cases pending in the relevant courts.
Over 600 cases are currently pending in each of these high courts, she added.
