100-unit housing schemes for each electorate – PM

Plans are afoot to construct a 100-unit housing scheme in each electorate, says Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Addressing a meeting with heads of media institutions and newspaper editors this morning (29), the Premier said the construction work of the project is expected to commence without delay.

Minister of Mass Media Keheliya Rambukwella, Minister of Industries Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila, Minister of Fisheries Douglas Devananda, State Minister of Education Reforms, Open Universities and Distance Learning Promotion Susil Premajayantha, Parliamentarian Premnath C. Dolawatte and Secretary to the Prime Minister Gamini Senarath were also attended the meeting.
