Seek immediate treatment if showing symptoms of fever, Govt. urges

Individuals who are displaying symptoms of fever have been advised to seek immediate treatment from the nearest government hospital.

The government stated that action will be sought against those who fail to comply with this directive.

Sri Lanka has seen a sharp rise in the positive cases of COVID-19 during the past few days.

The novel coronavirus cluster linked to the Brandix apparel factory in Minuwangoda has so far confirmed 708 positive cases, including the 39-year-old woman, employed at the apparel factory, and her 16-year-old daughter.
