A/L and Scholarship exam candidates asked submit details

The Education Ministry has decided to obtain the information of the candidates of 2020 G.C.E. Advanced Level and Grade 05 Scholarship examinations as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Accordingly, the candidates have been instructed to submit their details including the health status through the form provided in the official website of the Education Ministry - https://info.moe.gov.lk

The candidates, who are unable to submit their form online, are meanwhile instructed to provide the required information at the centre where they are sitting for the exam.

The Education Ministry has sent out the relevant forms, prepared in Sinhala, English and Tamil languages, to the Provincial / Zonal Directors of Education to be handed over to the Heads of Examination Centres.

The form mentions that the form should be submitted again if the candidate or their family members are suffering from fever or breathing difficulties following the submission of the application or during or after the examination.

The Grade 05 Scholarship exam will be held on October 10 and in the meantime, the A/L exam is scheduled to be carried out from October 12 to November 06.

The Department of Examinations meanwhile stated that 2020 A/L Examination candidates who have not received their exam admission can dowload the relevant document from the Department’s official website (www.doenets.lk) through the following link (http://www.slexams.com/), by submitting their NIC number.
