Four new Sri Lankan envoys call on Prime Minister

Four newly-appointed Sri Lankan envoys have called on Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today (17) at Temple Trees.

Accordingly, Ambassador-designate to China Dr. Palitha Kohona and Ambassador-designate to Japan Mr. Sajiv Gunasekara have paid da courtesy call on the Premier this afternoon.

In the meantime, Permanent Representative-designate of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in New York Mr. Mohan Peiris and Permanent Representative-designate of Sri Lanka to Geneva Mr. C.A. Chandraprema also met with the Prime Minister. 

The newly-appointed envoys are soon to be sent off for their diplomatic missions.
