Validity period of driver’s license further extended

It has been decided to extend the validity period of driving licenses by 03 months from their date of expiry.

The decision is only valid for the licenses which expire within the period of 01 July 2020 and 31 December 2020, State Minister Dilum Amunugama said.

The decision has been taken considering the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country.
