With the detection of a new COVID-19 infection, the Dehiwala Central Trade Complex has been temporarily shut down until further notice.

A person working on a lorry transporting fish from the Peliyagoda Central Fish Market to fish stalls in the Complex has reportedly contracted the virus.

As it had been revealed that the infected person had visited several shops in the Dehiwala Central Trade Complex, it was decided that the complex would be closed from 12.00 noon today (22).

Traders of the complex are to be subjected to PCR testing tomorrow (23).
