Coronavirus: 75 more cases reported

Another 75 individuals have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus, according to the Army Chief, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.

All 75 cases are as close contacts of previously identified cases, he confirmed.

Accordingly, a total of 276 cases have been reported within the day so far.

The Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda cluster has so far registered 3,958 positive cases in total, the Department of Government Information said.
