Pharmacies, banks, essential item outlets in Gampaha open tomorrow

Essential food sales outlets and pharmacies will be allowed to operate in Gampaha District tomorrow (October 26), stated the Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.

Accordingly, the aforementioned essential items outlets in the curfew imposed district will remain open from 8 am until 10 pm.

Banks in the district, too, have been requested to carry out operations tomorrow between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm.

Bank employees may use their official ID as a curfew pass when reporting to work, stated the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
