Night mail trains from Fort cancelled

October 25, 2020   04:25 pm

All night mail trains departing from the Fort Railway Station will be canceled from today (October 25), stated the Railway Control Room.

However, the Galle night mail train will operate as per usual.

This decision has been taken due to the curfew imposed in the Fort police area.

A quarantine curfew was imposed in the Fort, Pettah, Borella, and Welikada police areas, to be in effect from 6 pm today.
