7 children and 3 mothers test Covid-19 positive at Lady Ridgeway Hospital

Seven children and three mothers have tested positive for at Covid-19 at the  Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children in Borella.

They are all contacts from the Peliyagoda Fish Market Covid-19 cluster, according to the Director of the Hospital Dr. G. Wijesuriya.

Last week it was reported that a 2-year-old child and her mother who had visited the Lady Ridgeway Hospital had tested positive for the virus.

The father of the child, who is from Wellampitiya, had also tested positive for novel coronavirus.
