Days assigned for operation of pharmacies, essential item outlets in curfew areas

The government has assigned specific days of the week for the operation of essential item outlets and pharmacies in curfew imposed areas, stated Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.

Accordingly, the aforementioned outlets in the curfew areas of the Gampaha and Kalutara Districts are allowed operation every Monday and Thursday.

Tuesdays and Fridays have been assigned for the outlets in Colombo and Kurunegala districts.

Essential item outlets and pharmacies have been allowed operation in the curfew imposed areas of Gampaha and Kalutara Districts every Monday and Thursday.

Accordingly, pharmacies and essential items outlets are allowed to remain open from 8 am until 10 pm on the days assigned for the relevant district.

 

Gampaha District
Every Monday and Thursday

Colombo District
Every Tuesday and Friday

Kalutara District
Every Monday and Thursday

Kurunegala District
Every Tuesday and Friday
