67 new coronavirus recoveries in Sri Lanka

The Ministry of Health says 67 individuals who were previously tested positive for Covid-19, have been discharged from medical care as they have made complete recoveries. 

According to the situation report, 12 at National Institute for Infectious Diseases (NIID), 02 at Welikanda Base Hospital, 25 at Kattankudy Hospital, 08 at Theldeniya Base Hospital, 09 at Homagama Base Hospital and 01 at Galgamuwa Base Hospital have returned to health.

The new development brings the total number of novel coronavirus recoveries reported in the country to 4,142.

Sri Lanka’s confirmed cases court meanwhile stands at 9,205. However, 5,044 of them are still under medical care.
