Coronavirus: 117 more infected persons make complete recoveries

The Ministry of Health confirms that 117 individuals who were previously diagnosed with Covid-19, have been discharged from medical care as they have made complete recoveries. 

According to the situation report, the following hospitals have reported the latest recoveries:

National Institute for Infectious Diseases (NIID) – 02
Welikanda Base Hospital – 09
Iranawila Hospital – 22
Hambantota District General Hospital – 02
Rambukkana District Hospital – 01
Kattankudy Hospital – 10
Dr Neville Fernando Teaching Hospital – 26
Theldeniya Base Hospital – 26
Homagama Base Hospital – 13
Kosgama District Hospital – 03
Dankotuwa District Hospital – 03

The new development brings the total number of novel coronavirus recoveries reported in the country to 4,399.

Sri Lanka’s confirmed cases court meanwhile stands at 10,424. The grim milestone of 10,000 was crossed yesterday (30) with over 600 new infections.

The Epidemiology Unit says 6,005 of them are still under medical care.
