Zahran’s wife among Covid-19 infected inmates at Welikada Prison

The wife of Easter Sunday terror attacks’ ringleader Zahran Hashim, is reportedly among the inmates who were tested positive for Covid-19 at Welikada Prison.

Department of Prisons said she is currently under medical care at Welikanda Hospital for coronavirus treatment with the other inmates.

A total of 30 novel coronavirus infections were reported among the Welikada Prison inmates within the last two days.

According to reports, 26 female inmates and 03 male inmates had contracted the virus.
