45th coronavirus death reported in Sri Lanka

The Director General of Health Services has confirmed the forty-fifth coronavirus death in the country.

A 68-year-old woman had passed away at her home in Maligawatte, Colombo.

The postmortem examination had cited the cause of death as a heart attack caused by high blood pressure due to Covid-19 infection.

Accordingly, with this the total number of Covid-19 deaths in Sri Lanka is now 45.

This is also the fourth Covid-19 death reported within today (11).
