Maithripala returns to PCoI on Easter attacks

UPDATE (4.00 PM): Former President Maithripala Sirisena has left the Presidential Commission of Inquiry a short while ago, after testifying on the coordinated terror attacks for the 8th day.



Former President Maithripala Sirisena arrives at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry probing the Easter Sunday attacks.

He had been summoned to give evidence with regard to the tragic events that occurred in April 2019.

Accordingly, Sirisena arrived at the premises this morning (25) with his legal counsel.

The former President has testified before the Commission yesterday (24) and on several previous occasions.
