Buses will be up and running as per usual from next Monday (November 30), says the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB).

Its Chairman Kingsley Ranawaka stated that the decision was reached taking into account the inadequate number of buses in operation after schools were reopened.

His remarks came during a press conference held in Colombo.

Schools, except those in isolated areas and the Western Province, resumed academic activities from November 23 for students in Grades 6 and above.
